Bike Adventure #58

Day 1, 2, 3, 4, 5

Pictures and Stories About Bicycle Adventures

Great Divide Mountain Bike Route (GDMBR) - Segment:
Montana: Grant, Medicine Lodge Mountain Wild Camp, Lima,
Lima Reservoir and Wetland Wild Camp, Cattle Drive,
Lakeview, Red Rock Lakes, Beaverhead Deerlodge NF Wild Camp,
Red Rock Pass (7,120', Continental Divide Crossing #6 and State Line Crossing),
to Macks Inn, Idaho; June, 2016

Highlights
    Day 2:
  • It sprinkled the previous evening so the tent was packed partially wet (read as it was twice as heavy).
  • The day went as planned with no unusual incidents.
  • We saw Antelope about every 20 minutes; they seemed more skittish than on the plains, only allowing approach at no less than 300 yards/meters.
  • We had a high level overcast for most of the day, nice for cycling but dark on pictures.
